My name is Michelle and I created MichLWellness out of my own love for fitness, healthy eating and wellness. My journey to wellness didn’t start on a straight path; I spent the last decade building an amazing career working 70-80-hour weeks and travelling all over Canada for a high end fashion brand. Every work trip, I tried to stay on track with a healthy diet, finding nutritious plane snacks, healthy restaurants and tricks for living a healthy lifestyle out of a hotel. Exercise became the grounding force in my life, racing off to fitness classes after a twelve-hour workday to burn off the stress of the day. I worked really hard to create a balanced lifestyle, and not let anything get in the way of maintaining a fitness routine and healthy diet. In theory, I didn’t have the time to meal prep, work out, or take care of my health, but I made sure I found a way, and a sustainable one at that.

I realized that I loved and needed to find affordable and maintainable ways to live this way. I also noticed that the people in my life were telling me they wanted to be healthier too, but it was just too hard and too expensive for them to do. Well, challenge accepted! I decided that I wanted to share my experience with people that being healthy and active doesn’t have to be hard or expensive and can actually be pretty fun! I provide the tools and building blocks to jump start your wellness journey and stay on track through my 3 pillars to wellness approach.

Through MichLWellness, I’ve created a platform to help nurture your desire to live a healthier and happier life, without breaking the bank, feeling deprived or stressed about he experience. The MichLWellness website provides free and paid resources to guide you in your health journey. I worked with Michelle for 4 weeks and absolutely loved it! I've never had a personal trainer before so this was a completely new experience for me. She gave me a form to fill out and tailored the workouts to equipment I have and workouts that I like. Sessions were mostly strength based with small cardio bursts, which I'm all about. I've also taken her barre inspired classes and enjoy those as well! Michelle also created a meal plan for me, I've never followed a meal plan before but I stuck with this one and lost four pounds. I started following Michelle on insta, on her michlwellness account, since October-Novembre 2020! I started doing her low impact workouts and I saw a drastic change in my body. Since following her, I realised that low-impact workouts are great, as they get you the results you want while avoiding injuries. Michelle is very dedicated, energetic, and as a plus, she has great music. She knows what she is doing and she seems happy to share her love of working out with us.
